Rural life allows you to enjoy many of the finer things in life. We work hard, but we definitely enjoy our time for relaxation. This great area we live in offers some of the best opportunities for recreation in the state of Nebraska, and we take advantage of them.
Long known as one of the best hunting spots in the United States, our area has many different opportunities waiting for you. Turkeys are everywhere! Pheasants and quail are plentiful! And the deer, well they do spend time in the corn fields. What ever you enjoy to hunt, this is definitely one of the best spots to come to.
If walleye, white bass, wipers, or crappie turn you on then have we got a deal for you. Harlan County Reservoir and Medicine Creek Reservoir are two great lakes for fishing and along with the Republican River, this area will provide you with more fish tales than anyone has time to listen to.
Harlan County Reservoir and Medicine Creek Reservoir will provide you with all the water activities that you have time for. The camping areas are beautiful, the water is great for skiing (either the old fashioned way or with a jet ski), the fishing is as good as it gets, and both have cabin areas if you find you just can’t leave the lake.
Are you the type that can’t get enough of chasing the little white ball around? If so, we have some great golf waiting for you.
