The chart below shows you what the costs of a variety of fuel sources are to produce the same amount of heat.  As you can see, electric heat options are the most beneficial for you.

* Residential Natural Gas prices are based on heating season from October 2005 thru April 2006-Cambridge residence.  Rates are the same for communities served by Twin Valleys Public Power District except franchise fees may vary.

* Electric rates are based on Twin Valleys Public Power District’s residential or small commercial “All Electric” rate.

* Propane prices based on September 2006 quote.

* Rebates are available to Twin Valleys Public Power District residential customers for conversion to electric heat or electric water heating a discounted “All Electric” rate is available to qualified users.  Please call us for details.
