New Director at Twin Valleys Public Power District
Cambridge, NE--David Black has become the newest member of the Board of Directors for Twin Valleys Public Power District in Cambridge. He will represent the northeast portion of the district.
David and his family live five miles southeast of Holdrege, farming 2500 acres. His wife, Grace, teaches school in Axtell and his two children have graduated from high school and are currently furthering their education. His daughter, Carolyn, is attending the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where she is pursuing a degree in Speech Pathology. She will be graduating this spring. His son, Danny, is currently attending school in Norfolk studying to be a Center Pivot Specialist.
David has been involved with many organizations over the years including coop boards, church councils, and currently the YMCA in Holdrege. One of his passions in life is youth sports. He has coached at the high school level and has also worked with younger kids, helping them learn the fundamentals of the sport, allowing them to achieve greater success.
“Water and electricity are two of the major issues that will be challenging rural Nebraska in the future and good decisions will need to be made” David said. “I look forward to the opportunity to help guide Twin Valleys Public Power District into the future in a responsible manner.”
